Description
A small fly/zoom through a 3D fractal, which reminded me of some car engine setup.
This was a kind of test to check my ability to render an animation in a reasonable time using a 'high' quality rendering (1280*960 to have anti aliasing when reduced, depth of field and ambient occlusion lighting - here it took ~100 hours for 2200 frames).
Fractal type : Kaleidoscopic IFS + Tglad's folding.
Rendered with Mandelbulber 0.90, encoded with VirtualDub and compressed for DeviantArt with DivX Converter.
